Refund & Cancellation Policy – Pride Energies

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all users of Pride Energies India Pvt Ltd [SpotEV] for EV charging services and related infrastructure offerings.

By using our services, you agree to this policy.

Charging Session Cancellation

  • Users may cancel a charging session before initiation without any charges (if booking-based system is applicable).
  • Once a charging session has started, it cannot be cancelled, and charges will apply based on usage.

Refund Policy

  • Free cancellation: Up to 30 minutes before the scheduled slot.
  • Partial refund: 15–30 minutes before the session start (50% refund of booking fees).
  • No refund: Less than 15 minutes before start time or no-shows.
  • In case of auto-cancellation due to no-show, booking or convenience fees remain non-refundable.

All services are subject to availability and operational conditions.

Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be considered under the following conditions:

Failed Transactions

  • If payment is deducted but the charging session does not start due to technical issues
  • The amount will be refunded automatically within 5–7 business days

Interrupted Charging Sessions

If charging is interrupted due to:

  • Charger malfunction
  • Power failure
  • System error

Refund will be processed for the unused portion of the amount.

Duplicate Payments

  • Any duplicate or excess payment made will be refunded after verification

Non-Refundable Cases

Refunds will not be provided in the following situations:

  • Partial usage of charging session by the user
  • User voluntarily stops charging
  • Incorrect vehicle compatibility or connection issues
  • Network issues or delays caused by third-party payment providers
  • Idle/overstay charges

Refund Process

  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method (UPI, card, wallet, etc.)
  • Processing time may vary depending on the payment provider
  • Users may be required to provide transaction details for verification

Infrastructure Services (B2B / Installation)

For EV charger installation and infrastructure services:

  • Advance payments are non-refundable once work has commenced
  • Cancellation before project initiation may be subject to administrative charges
  • Customized equipment or deployed hardware costs are non-refundable.

Third-Party Payment Disclaimer

  • All payments are processed via third-party gateways
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by banks or payment providers
  • However, we will assist users in resolving such issues
